“If I Loved You” is a show tune written by Oscar Hammerstein II and composed by Richard Rodgers to feature in their 1945 musical, “Carousel”. The song was first performed by John Raitt and Jan Clayton. In the film version of the musical, released in 1956, it was performed by Gordon MacRae and Shirley Jones.
