Song Details:
"The Man Who Can’t Be Moved" is the second single off of The Script (2008), the self-titled debut album from Irish alternative rock band The Script. The song was first released on July 25, 2008, with writing by band members Mark Sheehan and Danny O’Donogue, along with Steve Kipner, Terius Nash, Thaddis Harrell, Christopher Stewart and Jay-Z.
It is a pop-rock ballad which tells the story of a man who returns to the place where he first met an ex-girlfriend whom he can’t forget, hoping that she will once again join him. The song was commercially successful and considered one of the highlights of the album, which received a lukewarm overall critical response.
