Song Details:
"So Lonely" was released on Nov 1978 as the third single taken from The Police's debut studio album, "Outlandos d'Amour" (1978), following "Roxanne" and "Can't Stand Losing You." It is a new wave, punk-influenced song, written by band vocalist Sting and co-produced by all band members. Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry" was cited as a strong influence in the musical structure of the song.
